By using our site, services, or by purchasing from us you agree to our privacy policy, and our terms & conditions of use, however we want to make sure visitors don’t need a law degree just to read a policy page so we made it as simple and clear as possible below, and removed a whole lot of commonly used law mumbo-jumbo that doesn’t really mean anything, and just tends to be used to confuse and hide information that should be available to the visitor.

Any data you provide us we collect, usually to make things happen when you order something, or ask a question. An example would be giving us your email when asking us a question, we’ll need to collect this email so we can contact you, but we do care about your privacy and we NEVER sell your data to third parties, nor will we ever.

In Short: We collect personal information that you provide to us such as name, address, contact information, passwords and security data, and payment information.  

The personal information that we collect depends on the context of your interactions with us, the choices you make and the products and features you use. The personal information we collect can include the following: your email address, your account info on Ficarro Farms, and anything you volunteer, we will never abuse this data, and we secure it when possible, we also anonymize your IP, and data when possible.

Some data is automatically collected when you visit Ficarro Farms, this data does not include personal information, but can include your IP, where you arrived on the site from, and even your general location (country), this data is collected through 3rd party analytic providers, specifically Google Analytics, WooCommerce Analytics, and WordPress Analytics, we don’t want to provide any data to these providers but unfortunatly it is the only way a business can surivive in todays internet, but we have forced these providers to anonymize your IP, and any personal identifiable information, we do this because we don’t want your information leaked wherever possible even if it may seem like a safe company, the more anonymized data the better., we don’t want these companies selling your data, just like we don’t want them selling ours. We all have a right to privacy and Ficarro Farms applies that right wherever possible.

Like many businesses, we also collect information through cookies and similar technologies. These allow the site to perform faster for each visitor, again we never sell or share any data.

You may notice when you download programs that they tend to ask you to share your data to improve their program, most people don’t know that webmasters are asked these same questions. We say no.

  • Fufillment of a Contract: Where we have entered into a contract with you, we may process your personal information to fulfill the terms of our contract. For example if you order from us, you are contracting us to provide you with something, and in that case we would have to use your shipping address. But rest assured we keep everything as private as possible.

We may offer the ability to make an account with us using your social media logins, we only use the data required to make this possible, but we can not choose what data these 3rd party social media platforms decide to retain, so we recommend checking out their privacy policies, and making changes where needed.

In Short:  If you choose to register or log in to our services using a social media account, we may have access to certain information about you.          

5. IS YOUR INFORMATION TRANSFERRED INTERNATIONALLY?  

Our servers are located in the United States. If you are accessing our website from outside the United states be aware that your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed by us in our facilities (in the USA) and by those third parties we mention earlier.

If you are a resident in the European Economic Area, then these or other countries may or may not have data protection laws.

We will however take all necessary measures to protect your personal information in accordance with this privacy policy

6. WHAT IS OUR STANCE ON THIRD-PARTY WEBSITES?   

We cannot guarantee the safety and privacy of data you provide to any third parties. Any data collected by third parties that are not us (such as PayPal when used to place an order) is not covered by this privacy policy. We are not responsible for the content or privacy and security practices and policies of any third parties, including other websites, services or applications that may be linked to Ficarro Farms

7. HOW LONG DO WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION?  

We will only keep your personal information for as long as it is necessary for the purposes set out in this privacy policy unless a longer retention period is required by you or required by law (specifically as taxes, or for  yearly accounting (also for taxes))

When we have no on-going legitimate business need to process your personal information, we will either delete or anonymize it, or, if this is not possible (for example, because your personal information has been stored in backup archives), then we will securely store your personal information and isolate it from any further processing until deletion is possible. 

If you would like your data removed, no matter the country you’re in, or the state you’re in, we’ll delete your data if requested, just use our contact us page and ask.

8. DO WE COLLECT INFORMATION FROM MINORS?  

We do not knowingly solicit data from or market to children under 18 years of age. By using Ficarro Farms, you represent that you are at least 18 or that you are the parent or guardian of such a minor and consent to such minor dependent’s use of Ficarro Farms. If we learn that personal information from users less than 18 years of age has been collected, we will deactivate the account and take reasonable measures to promptly delete such data from our records. We have not implemented a Do Not Track feature YET (we do plan on implementing it as soon as possible), however we do not collect data that is not needed and we also anonymize your data when possible. California Civil Code Section 1798.83, also known as the “Shine The Light” law, permits our users who are California residents to request and obtain from us, once a year and free of charge, information about categories of personal information (if any) we disclosed to third parties for direct marketing purposes and the names and addresses of all third parties with which we shared personal information in the immediately preceding calendar year. If you are a California resident and would like to make such a request, please submit your request using our contact us form.

If you are under/or over 18 years of age, reside in California, and have a registered account with Ficarro Farms, you have the right to request removal of unwanted data that you publicly post (or provide to) on Ficarro Farms.
