Home-Made Gravy Instructions
Today I decided to make a nice chicken dinner with mashed potatoes and gravy.
Since my daughter only likes white gravy, I threw together a simple, but authentic white gravy. Here’s how I did it.
Ingredients:
5 Tbs of Bacon Grease
5 Tbs of Flour
Salt & Pepper
Milk
Heat the bacon grease in a pan on medium-high heat, whisk in the flour, and gently heat the roux. Add a little salt and pepper, then add milk slowly while whisking until it looks like the gravy you want.
