Today I decided to make a nice chicken dinner with mashed potatoes and gravy.
Since my daughter only likes white gravy, I threw together a simple, but authentic white gravy. Here’s how I did it.
5 Tbs of Bacon Grease
5 Tbs of Flour
Salt & Pepper
Heat the bacon grease in a pan on medium high heat, whisk in the flour and gently heat the roux. Add a little salt and pepper, then add milk slowly while whisking until it looks like the gravy you want.
